GTS Ventures Limited has been operating since 1995 and takes a pro-active role in building shareholder value. Its principals and associates are seasoned entrepreneurs who take an active role in assisting early-stage companies to develop their strategy, strengthen the board and executive management team, invest and co-invest, and arrange development capital through a wide range of private equity and venture capital contacts.

The end game is to create shareholder value, and from the start a strategy is put in place to build value for Exit, through an IPO or trade sale.


1998 Initially an investor in Synigence plc, which succeeded in connecting the majority of health professionals’ desktops to the Company’s secure private network in a joint venture with Innovex, part of the US based Quintiles Group. I joined as an NED at start-up and became CEO. Took Company to a Listing, resulting in gains of between 10 and 100x to shareholders.

2002 Listing of 1st Dental Laboratories plc on AIM. Joined as a Non-Executive Director and later became Chairman. The Company grew from start-up to having 12 branches and the largest dental laboratory group in the UK.

2005 Initial investor in Vision Critical Ltd, providing IT solutions to Invoice Discounters.

2006 As CEO of BlueSpace Software, secured financing through a US VC, and managed relocation of Company from UK to USA.

2006 As a Director, managed the sale through a competitive bidding process, of Centre for Medicines Research International to Thomson Reuters.

2007 Led second round financing in Vision Critical Limited and was appointed Chairman.

2007 Founder investor and Director in Vzaar Ltd, leading provider of a video platform on the internet, with a special focus on SMEs.

2007 After a Dragon’s Den event, became an Investor and joined the Board as Chairman of Simplexo Limited, the leading global provider of secure storage, search and access in the Cloud.

2007 Joined Sage Partners of the US, heading up the London office to assist UK companies to enter market in the US and similarly providing assistance to US companies wishing to enter the European market.

2008 Sale of Get Me In! Having been appointed by Sage Partners as Chairman of Europe’s leading secondary ticketing company in 2007 and successfully arranging $3m of finance, the Company was sold in 2008 to Ticketmaster of the USA, described by First Tuesday as Europe’s most successful internet Exit of 2008.

2010 Xtex Ventures formed comprising Grahame Sewell and three other seasoned executives, John Clarke, Brian Stopp and Ian Simpkin, to focus on building an advisory business to help early stage companies develop in the most effective way to secure the best Exit as soon as practicable.

2011 Simplexo closes investment round to finance the growth of the Company in the UK and US and to aggressively market SearchYourCloud. New patents are filed...

2012 Vzaar opens a US office to build US revenues and to provide improved customer support to its US customer base.

2013 Simplexo announces plans to open a US office in California and sets up subsidiary

2014 Joined Edge Case Games Ltd. Invested, joined the Board as Charman and co-ordinated first funding round.

2015 Led $1m investment round in Intelligent Health Limited, a Company focused on helping get the inactive to become active. I invested and joined the Board.

2015 Edge Case Games Ltd attracts Chinese investment to develop Fractured Space in mobile format for Chinese market. 

2016 Search Your Cloud granted highly valuable patent covering federated search.


Chairman Osmo Data Technology Ltd - Osmo. Extractor technology providing key management information in financial services, major banks are key customers.

Chairman Simplexo Ltd – Secure Cloud Search software, recently launched into the market and arranged funding rounds. and

Director Vzaar Ltd – the corporate version of YouTube, providing easy to download video for the SME market place.

Chairman Edge Games Ltd -, an innovative space battleship game.

Director Intelligent Health Ltd -, which encourages people who are inactive to become inactive.
